About Us

Hey! You've arrived at The Junction! We designed a complete apparel line and web center to celebrate the vast diversity and unified strength of the African diaspora's populations.

Being the owner of The Junction, I am immensely proud of my background as the American-born child of a Bajan (from Barbados) mother and a Salone (from Sierra Leone) father. Being nurtured in a multiethnic family has instilled in me a tremendous respect, and affinity for the variety of African diasporic identities and cultures. Our philosophy is intended to be reflected in our apparel line, with each piece paying homage to the numerous communities that comprise the diaspora.

Our apparel is more than simply an article of clothing; it is a sign of our shared connection and our commitment to recognizing our many identities and ethnicities. We want everyone who wears our clothing to be proud of their culture and to acknowledge that they are part of a global community.

At The Junction, we are devoted to promoting a sense of community and belonging among the African diaspora. We think that by uniting and appreciating our shared history and culture, we can build a prosperous future for ourselves and future generations.
